Nike Run Turkey (2008)

This project was developed for Nike to organize running groups around Turkey for running together. It was a marketing campaign application. Back then, social media was not a god-mode tool like today. There were other means of effective advertisement for audience 🙂 I can’t recall that this was a major success, but I remember it was used at least six months or so. This was probably the first project that I needed to concern about accounts -hysterically- in terms of amount and security.

Widget was a non-square, transparent-windowed (yeah! This was a big deal) windows application which was developed Mehmet Gürmen. I maintained and updated the widget after initial release. Other parts of the project like administration, web services and account services designed and developed by me.
