ESCAPE Vehicle Tracking System (2006)

This is a GPS tracking and mapping system for vehicles such as cars, trucks, motorcycles. It has several modules which are designed, developed and maintained by me over several years. It has windows services to communicate between system and tracking devices, Web services for external system integration, a web interface for live tracking, reporting and managing assets. I developed several generic-purpose class libraries and JavaScript libraries for the client system also.

Also, one may want to consider that this project was built around 2005 to 2008-ish which was one decade ago and esthetics and/or technical capabilities of that time was not similar today. It’s not that I’m proposing the design is not shitty, I’m just pointing out the time-normative situation 🙂 For example, a developer was needed to be aware of that 1024 by 768-pixel screen resolution was standard definition for most computers.
