KuryeNet Delivery Automation (2006 – 2007)
This is the first mobile project which I developed, but not like todays Android or IOS. The devices that I needed to use have previous (current version at that time) generation of Microsoft Windows Mobile (way before 8.1, Nokia and all that). It was Windows Mobile 5 and/or 6. The software needed to work several devices like Dolphin, Intermec, Opticon, Orient, also HP had Windows Mobile phones called “iPAQ 500” at that time (see one here).
The software was a delivery automation for a carrier company called KuryeNet. Basically, the system had two parts, one side developed for mobile devices that I mentioned above and other side was a collection of server and web management applications. Handheld devices used by delivery employees to scan barcodes and get signature from customers (this was a simple GDI+ implementation for C#), the app then, send those information to server for archiving and reporting on the web page. I designed and developed the mobile system and web interface from concept to release. Data development was co-authored with Murat Darçın. As far as I know the software is still in use today.
