Mobilas GPS Tracking System (2013 – …)
Once in a while, a developer may have a chance to create a project which he/she wants to brag about. This is ‘the’ project for me; at least after 2010-ish. This project entirely designed and developed by me from ground up. All client and server modules, JavaScript libraries, Silverlight packages, Windows services, canvas libraries, WCF services, advertisement web sites, brochures, interface designs crafted by me (of course I used a couple of development libraries once in a while, so credit goes to their respective owners). Anyway, this is one of the coolest projects I ever had a chance to work on.
This software is the successor of ESCAPE Tracking System which you can see it here. It is a GPS tracking and security solution for land vehicles and a data tracking application for on-site locations. It has several communication channels like socket connections and web services to send and receive data and two separate web interfaces for system management and customer services. The software is relatively an old one in terms of interface, but it still holds in my opinion. I still make minor updates and changes when needed.
